EN La Compania de Jesus; Crucifix with winding cloth and carved and painted instruments of the Passion; the cross stands between the original columns of the now sealed entrance to the monastery. Note: the Third of May is the day of the Festival of the Cross. It is the custom for people to make crosses or repaint old ones decorated with all the symbols of the Passion, and to carry them in procession through the streets. They are then placed in the atrium of the Church, or along the roads outside the city and used as shrines.
